ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
The Come to Our Table outreach program began in November 2025. During one of our church's weekly Family Night Out meals, members of our church realized there were many in our community being affected by the 2025 SNAP benefit shutdown. In response to this need, a small group decided that we could help by serving a hot meal each week and also by compiling meal kits for those who could use them. Originally intended to last just a couple of months until the SNAP benefits could be restored, our outreach has continued and evolved into where we are at today.

WHAT WE OFFER
1. Showers - shampoo/conditioner, soap, deoderant, and other hygiene items are provided
2. Laundry services - We have 2 washers and dryers and offer them to be used by our guests on a first come, first served basis.
3. Meal - Whether prepared by our volunteers or donated, we are grateful for the kindness!
4. Meal Bags - Each guest is offered a meal bag that is filled with shelf-stable foods that do not need to be heated to eat. Some items that are included include canned pasta (pop-top), tuna or chicken salad kits, fruit and pudding cups, granola bars or other snacks, and bottled water.
5. Clothing/Shoes - We accept donations of clothing and shoes from the community and our guests are allowed to choose any items that they need from our collection.
6. Other miscellaneous items - These could be almost anything that could be used by our unhoused/in need guests.

We are always open to volunteers! Some of the ways you can help are with checking in our guests for showers and assisting with laundry, preparing meals, and helping with maintaining our "closet" so that it is neat and organized.
2. Donation of items
Donations can be dropped off at the church on Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 9:30a -3:00p, or we can arrange a more convenient time if needed. We also have an Amazon Wish List (click here).
